We’re two Canadians who followed a quiet calling—and it led us here, to this peaceful corner of Belize. What started as a dream became a bold leap into the unknown. With no roadmap, we began building our life—and our home—from the ground up.

🔌 Living Off-Grid

Medicine Tree Lodge is completely off-grid, powered by solar energy and nourished by natural spring water. Choosing this path has allowed us to slow down, live intentionally, and deepen our connection to the land. It's a lifestyle that reminds us daily how little we actually need—and how much nature gives in return.

🌱 Creating a Homestead

Alongside building the lodge, we’ve been creating a small homestead: planting gardens, harvesting local food and medicine, and learning to live in harmony with the ecosystem around us. Every day is a step deeper into simplicity, stewardship, and self-reliance.
